We were staying here for the three nights before Christmas this year and we had an amazing time so convenient for having a lodging with skiing. Also, the restaurant very good. The room was very spacious and very clean. Service good as well. Definitely we will come back and we highly recommend it.

Nice comfortable stay. The pool was warm and very relaxing; the hot tub and sauna both worked fine. Although not complimentary, the breakfast at the Summit Restaurant was excellent. Beautiful views of the Mississippi River from the west balcony of the hotel. Very nice! Will stay again.

Overall great stay

First trip to Galena end of September. Didn’t realize that the hotel was a bit further out from the main downtown restaurants and shops. Overall a good experience, hotels is a bit dated in some areas but some of the rooms are a bit updated. No elevator in the hotel and WiFi and phone service were a bit shotty. Beautifully decorated for fall. Great views, lots to do at the hotel. We did the Alpine slide and soaring eagle

We were lucky enough to get in to stay there during Oktoberfest in Galena. We got two rooms which I am sure were the last two available so they were not that big and did not have a view of the river and had small bathrooms. We had a good time there though. Enjoyed hiking around the trails in the area. Also took a ride on the alpine slide down to the river to ride the boat and rode the chair lift back up. Also played mini golf. Enjoyed the view of the river at breakfast.
