"Hotel is outstanding, it’s over 500 years old and it’s immaculate, food was great, very quiet, first time we have ever stayed in a Palace, room was large with a King bed. My only criticism is that it doesn’t have a true shower. Staff were so polite and accommodating ….we loved the place. Shout out to Lucia who checked us in made us feel so welcome. Appreciated Irina’s help this morning on the check out. "

"Wonderful hosts and beautiful location. A great place for hikers and people who like to explore the nature and the woods. The town is small but the host can prepare a lovely dinner which I highly recommend. Very enjoyable stay. "

"Galicano es un sitio bellísimo y el Airbnb es divino y muy cómodo. El único consejo para la propietaria es de poner unos dispensadores de jabón en la ducha o sl menos una repisa para dejar el jabón o el gel. Y algún espejo grande en la habitación "

"La Mezzaluna is a short walk from Barga Gallicano train station, and buses to Lucca. Rita is amazingly hospitable & welcoming, and did so much to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms are very nice, buffet breakfast set us up for the day. There is a bus up to Barga during the day, and a taxi back in evening.If you visit Barga, this is the place to stay. "

"Excellent service and hospitality in a wonderful old castle on top of the hill. The city square offered the best pizza-place and evening entertainment in the square with cover band playing ABBA-hits. We will definitely come back and visit again!"

"Camera pulita e adeguata, il secondo letto matrimoniale un po' posticcio ma abbastanza comodo. La colazione era tipica italiana con brioche e cappuccino, si potevano prendere anche più brioches e altre bevande. Ho visto persone però che mangiavano uova e prosciutto a colazione, quindi anche salata se richiesta. La signora del bar molto gentile e disponibile."

"The proprietor was very friendly and accommodating. Lovely room and excellent, ample breakfast. Shower is tight for a plus-sized person. Parking very easy, but the peculiarities of house numbering in Carrara make it difficult to find the B&B location, which is located not near #18 and behind another group of houses numbered 16. Still, I highly recommend this B&B!"
