"My wife and I loved our time at this property. It has a very cute garden where we would sit and have tea. We also enjoyed the art display in the living room, which was all made by the host’s mother. The property is in an area away from the city where we could get a taste of everyday life in Japan, so we were delighted every time we walked to and from the train stations. Plus, our host was very helpful and attentive, she assisted us to get our luggage forwarded to our next hotel.

"This place was really nice. Rooms maintained. Only complaint was the tourist tax. We were unaware of it since it doesn’t show on Expedia. It wasn’t anything terrible, ¥1,600 per room, one time charge, at the time we stayed (Oct. 2025). I totally understand why they have it, I just wish it said on Expedia. This might be more an Expedia situation than the hotel itself. That said, I would stay here again."
