The cabin was very cute and cozy. It was clean and secluded which we loved. It was a bit small for our family of eight - but since we spent most of our time exploring the area it was the perfect place for resting in between adventures
We love every second of our stay at this home. It was a perfect location! We went hiking and visited the swing bridge. We sat on the porch and drank coffee while taking in what the mountains and the river had to offer.
The cabin was very cozy and had everything we needed. Clean an very spacious. Host checked in to make sure we got in ok. All in all had a great time. We will try to come back.
Everything was fantastic with this cabin. Definitely want to return.

private mountain retreat
Large mountain cabin with view of river. Quiet, peaceful retreat for a couple or plenty of room for a large group. Very cozy, nicely decorated cabin. Enjoyed our close drive to the fish hatchery and hike along the scenic river. Upper and lower balcony sets it apart from other cabins. Looking forward to returning.
This cabin was amazing! My 9year old son and I had the perfect get away weekend at this cabin! Cathie was very responsive and a top notch host! Plenty of things to do, games, cassette tapes for the vibes, right on the Toccoa river! Fish hatchery right up the road, great BBQ at Wild Cat BBQ, quick breakfast and small grabs at Copper Creek Store. Suspension bridge a must see! Downtown Blue Ridge only 40 minute drive!

Winter Retreat
We loved the privacy of this house. It is tacked in the woods and you cannot hear or see anyone else around if you do not want to. It rained a lot while we were up there but we enjoyed the coziness of the fire and snuggling with our blankets on the porch listening to the river. The place is clean, well decorated and plenty of amenities (liked the crock pot, which we used). There was a bottle of wine and crackers waiting for us there, that was a nice touch. We will be back this summer for sure. We want to go rafting on the river.

Very relaxing cabin
This cabin feels like a tree house from the back deck. The sounds of the river are amazing. We had everything we needed for cooking and used the grill often. The lower level fire pit is about 50 steps above the river and makes for a pleasant spot to spend an evening. The deck on the river below was our favorite spot to enjoy coffee. For you fitness folks, you'll get your steps in going up and down to the river. The steps are well maintained and easily navigated. The drive into the residence was unexpected and a bit entertaining. The road starts with an uphill turn. This was covered in wet leaves which did little for traction. We managed fine and mastered the effort after the first go. I'm sure this is less exciting when dry and without loads of fresh Fall leaves. Those same leaves made for an awesome view out back. The wood burning stove was running often, we loved it. The owners had a massive stack of firewood for us. No wifi and weak cell inside. We learned to spend more time on the back deck when we needed to check email or make calls. That became an odd bonus that had us congregating on the deck soaking up the sounds of the river. A lovely drive to Aska, Blairsville or Blue Ridge. We'll be back. The owners were superb to work with and responsive. A bargain for the price.
What an awesome place! Cathie was super responsive, the directions to get the cabin up and running were super easy to follow. The river that it sits off of is really peaceful. It's just far away enough from town to feel like you are aways from everything, but close enough to Blue Ridge to be convenient. We would definitely recommend this cabin to for a great getaway.
We used this cabin as a home base for a couple of days of fly fishing around the Chattahoochee National Forest. The cabin had plenty of space and we made use of the fire pit both nights. Having a complete kitchen was helpful for making meals.
We caught creek chubs and war paint shiners in the River below the cabin. We drove to the Fish Hatchery as well.
Our most productive area was the Delayed Harvest section of the Toocoa.
I had an amazing stay! The property is exactly as it is described. If you’re looking for a quiet, trout fishing getaway, this is your spot. The stairs down from the cabin literally step off into the water. I drove to multiple locations but honestly had my best fishing right from the steps of the cabin for all three species of trout. The only other spot I might recommend is deep hole rec area (about 4 minutes away). The deeper water there provides a shot at landing some bigger fish.
Overall amazing stay!!
