"Stayed here many times over the years. Great location, character building, friendly staff, superb breakfast, easy parking. Tempered on this particular occasion by ineffective room air conditioning and a dog basket & dirty glasses to greet us outside the room on arrival. Hopefully these points will get sorted soon."

"We only stayed for a night on our way to Dorset but we were very happy. The staff were friendly and helpful. They are clearly short staffed but did their best. The hotel is NOT suitable for anyone with physical disabilities mobility issues. The staircase down to the restaurant is steeper than the Eiger Mountain. But you can access it via the external door! Top tip!"

"Our room was beautiful and much bigger than expected! The only issue we had was how hot it was but the staff were lovely and gave us fans etc but the heat was overwhelming. Everything was lovely and clean. Couldn’t fault it really, would love to stay again"
