"I liked the place. The remodel of the basement was very well done great view of the water. But be aware it is a long way down a steep stairway. Also be aware that the place where you park is above the basement apartment down a short but fairly steep gravel path and/or another steep stairway. My wife and I are old and very unsteady on or feet. It would have been nice for us old folks if we had known what we were getting into. But it’s great if you are young. "The location is great, as it is close to light rail, Wright Park, the hospital, and several good restaurants. If interested in fast food, Frisko Freeze was great. There is plenty of parking around the rental. The studio appears recently renovated, but lacked privacy curtains. The blinds worked ok, but let in a lot of light. Additionally, It would help if hooks were added to hang personal items. However, there is a closet with hangers. The check in/out process was seamless."

"The staff was really great, especially on such short notice being that we booked last minute. The room and amenities- well they leave a lot to be desired. If you have a good eye for detail, you will notice everything that is not clean or not well maintained or hurriedly put together in the rooms. Fresh paint always makes it look great, but once you seeeeee it, you can’t unsee things. The smallest non issue I had was there was not a shower curtain, went and got one and then there weren’t any shower rings for the rod. I improvised."
