This vacation cabin and cabin rental located in Strawberry near Pinecrest, Pinecrest Lake and Dodge Ridge Ski Resort is spectacular! If you are looking for a large luxury cabin rental ON THE RIVER we think that you will love this cabin! Located directly on the south fork of the Stanislaus river 30 miles east of Sonora, CA on highway 108. Come once, come for a life time!

A cozy, warm, 100% natural pine, 2500 square foot cabin at an altitude of 5200' with all of the amenities of a modern resort! Fully stocked kitchen, five bedrooms, three bath, family room and kitchen nook. Hardwood floors, granite and marble everywhere! Great for larger families! Also has over 1000 square feet of decks for your outside enjoyment! This cabin is so close to the river you can fish from the deck into our own hole!

Also includes satellite TV in three rooms with big screen TVs in two. In the kids bedroom, there is a separate TV just for video games. There are three decks with chairs and tables plus an industrial gas BBQ. Sits on a super private 3/4 of an acre. Look at the pictures, you will be hard pressed to find another
neighbor!

Amazing property

I highly recommend this wonderful cabin..we had the best time and never wanted to leave. this place was truly a dream. The sound of the river was so relaxing and the home fit everyone comfortably. I can't wait to come back again.

Beautiful!!

We absolutely loved the location. Doesn’t get much better than having a snowy river in the backyard. Easy walking distance to a market and restaurant. Fantastic communication throughout. We loved everything about it.

Very Nice

We absolutely loved this property! The river out back was stunning—such a peaceful and beautiful touch. Honestly, we’ll definitely be coming back. Part of me doesn’t even want to write this review because I don’t want too many people to find out how amazing this place is—lol! Everything was perfect. The owner was incredibly accommodating and just a genuinely nice guy. Can’t wait for our next stay!

Always a great place to stay in Pinecrest area!

This is probably the 5th time we’ve stayed here for our annual family and friends trip to Pinecrest. Jim Briner is very quick and responsive to questions and issues. We love this property for its size and location right on the river— and it’s great that it’s dog friendly as well!

Mountain cabin retreat

This is a cabin community that's been around since 1942. Very amazing how it has been preserved after all this time. It goes to show how well the community keeps it maintained. The cabin was perfect and spacious. The upper and lower deck space are fantastic. Only a few steps to the river from the lower deck. Very nice area to disconnect from the world and enjoy your time in the beauty of nature. Jim was absolutely amazing. He's super cool and easy to communicate with. I never knew this area got that much snow and will definitely try the snow resort next time.

Great Family vacation

Right on the river. My two most favorite areas were the lower outside deck and the sun room off the master suite. The BBQ worked fine but was not cleaned prior to our arrival. It would have been nice to have a blower to blow off the deck so we would not track in debri. The ad says they have direct tv but the only remotes I found worked for the Samsung online tv channels only. I had a firestick anyway. Internet worked well until all the teens were online at same time. I will definitely go back.

Beautiful

A world away experience

This cabin was right on the river! Days spent fishing on the river, relaxing with family on one of three decks just chilling out to the sound of the river. The cabin is modernized and kept its charm of being built In the forties. We had plenty of space for our whole family. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were. Hosts were great and we all had a wonderful time. Highly recommend

Amazing Stay

The property is very well maintained and in a beautiful location. The river view is amazing and there is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy it. Everything was clean and we had no issues at all. Our family had a great stay at the river cabin and had perfect snowy weather during our time there. The cabin was fully equipped, the beds were comfortable and the fireplaces added to the cozy environment. The owners were available for any questions we had. Riverfront fun

Great place in Strawberry right on the river. Our host Jim was excellent and extremely welcoming before and during our visit. We ended up driving up in a blizzard and he was checking in to make sure we made it. The house was perfect for our group with lots of space and good communal cooking, eating and socializing areas. The area is beautiful and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Would definitely go again!

Great location and view

Very nice ,well maintained house in a beautiful spot. All of my communication with Jim were detailed ans very clear. This is my families second stay at the cabin. We had a winderful time fishing basically in the backyard. The river is steps away from the house! The house was very clean and fully equipped .and yhe beds are very comfortable. We had a lovely stay and will definitely be back.
