"My husband and I wanted a relaxing few days to get away from our hectic lives. This small cabin was perfect, comfortable, and nicely appointed. Reading a book on the screened in porch with a cup of coffee was my favorite part. It is a quiet place in the woods but close to many small and quaint towns to visit in Vermont. "The house was a very cute ski cabin-y feeling vacation spot with a gorgeous view of the reservoir. Location was great- not too far from the center of Wilmington. And a drive through the mountains/National Forest away from the other cities/tourist areas near Bennington. It snowed while we were staying and the owners stayed on top of plowing so we could drive in and out - they weren't kidding about needing 4WD to get in and out in the winter. Overall, we'd come back in a heartbeat"

"The cabin is very nice. It is in good shape. It is well decorated. It is very comfy, and it has everything you could possibly need. It is very close to the town of Wilmington, hiking trails, fishing, pond, lakes, and rivers. Sarah, the owner, was very responsive to any questions or needs. There’s a very nice eclectic restaurant in Wilmington that we really enjoyed called Jezebel. There is a high likelihood we would be coming back at some point in the future."
