"This hotel is really geared towards weddings, functions and corporate events. My standard bedroom was larger than expected with quality furnishings, particularly the bedding. Most of the staff were really welcoming and helpful but I thought the way the restaurant staff handled a query about a discrepancy in pricing between their so-called bar and terrace menu versus the dinner menu was poor."

"This is a wonderful, historic hotel on the river in Worcester, a 5 pound taxi ride from the Worcester New Shrub train station, and within walking distance to the city's cathedral and central shopping, dining area. The breakfasts couldn't be better, and the restaurant is top notch. My room had a separate living room facing the river with operable French doors and windows."
