"Great place to stay with our whole family- from 75 down to 2 years old. Everyone enjoyed, we had plenty of room and it was a great, easy & close walk to the beach. A wonderful stay!"

"Location: You can't beat the location - the house was equal distance from the lake and the community pool/amenities area. The Beachwalk community this sits in, is amazing. It has such a little quaint beach town feel. The neighborhood was quiet and respectfful.Space: So much space between the bedrooms and communal areas in the house and on the porches and outdoor deck. The kitchen is huge and great for our party to gather around mealtime and feed our 6 kids under 5! Cleanliness: This could have used some improvement. There was 1/2" of dust caked on all the ceiling fan blades so when you turned it on, the dust balls just rained down on you all night and several of us has stuffed noses, likely from the amount of dust. The carpet is also pretty gross and should either be professionally cleaned at some point or replaced. Amenties: The Beachwalk community was a nice addition for our famillies and kids. We really only used the pool and the private beach area on Lake Kai. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and sitting in the pool, you'd occassionally get a whiff of the nasty sewage smell but it was fine for our group of little kids who love being the water. It did get pretty crowded on the holiday weekend so I'd advise going early if you have a big group. Supplies: We had to request paper towels, a dish sponge and hand towels as there were none in the kitchen. The kitchen was adequately stocked with cooking supplies but should probably be organized and cleaned out."

"We had a wonderful stay! We didn't need anything fancy as we wanted to spend as much time outdoors. They are in the process of remodeling the bathroom, however the space was still clean! We really appreciated the hot tub and massage chair after a day of exploring."

"The condo itself was nice enough, and the balcony was a great. The beach and views were awesome. Host communication was very good. The only downside for us was that it wasn’t particularly dog-friendly, as there were no grassy areas nearby for dogs."

"Just got home from our 29th Wedding Anniversary stay at the Lake House . I would tell anyone who is planning a stay here to book an extra day or two. Sand gravity was real for us as the beach was so perfect during our Aug 7 & Aug 8 visit. There is so much to do and see not only in the town of Michigan City but on the property as well . I could not get enough of the massage chair . AMAZING !! I saw a mom & baby deer from the balcony . Seeing the deer made my whole night ! We made waffles and headed out to the beach to rock hunt , visited the lighthouse , had many great meals & cocktails . This was a 4. 1/2 hr drive from our home in Illinois . Very worth it . We hope to come back each year . Can’t think of any negatives other than it was a little tricky to get out of the parking spot but it seems like that’s the norm in the area . I’m not sure who I spoke to via email but the Manager onsite was very kind & respected our privacy . Next time we will book a longer stay . Thank you for sharing your home with us . The Mueller’s from Illinois ."
