"Very big hotel in that our room was quite far away from entrance. Weddings /parties all weekend so was busy but not noisy. Spacious bedroom. Clean. Good breakfast. Lovely choice of cocktails but a bit pricey. So was wine but then it's a hotel with not much nearby so was willing to pay. Lots of helpful staff. Dinner was great. Well kept grounds to walk around. Only thing I asked for - hair conditioner was unavailable."

"Stayed 2 nights for a wedding. Overall good stay apart from mattress too soft, room was very hot and a fan had been provided which was no way near adequate. Complimentary bottled water in room would have been nice. Good buffet breakfast, everything you needed. Have an electric car. Website doesn’t say anywhere to bring your own charging cable to charge car. Have never had this issue before."

"Nice size room I was expecting a standard double bed so was surprised and pleased to find we had super king size bed…two divans connected together..There was an ironing board, iron and hairdryer. Nice large bath with overhead shower. Tea making facilities …..although would have been quite nice to have some biscuits ! Lounge area very nice classic style and dining room.We did decide to have breakfast on the day and were pleased with it. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Lovely garden area and free parking.It is within easy reach of the town. Would stay again if visiting the area."
