"We loved this place. It was rustic and what we really like in a forest setting. Would've liked a secluded cabin better, but this place had great views and worked just great. No complainfs!"
"We had a nice stay here. Pretty solid access to the National Park where we went hiking every day and generally took us about 15-20 minutes to get to the park entry. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and complimentary coffee was great. Used the gas grill one evening for dinner. House was spacious and nicely secluded. Small windy roads to get there. Hosts were responsive and polite. And we appreciated the lack of complex time-consuming chores at checkout that we've experienced elsewhere. As the hosts and other reviewers have noted, the Internet can be spotty. That's unfortunate if it happens when you want to watch TV in the evening (which relies on streaming). We ended up going out to a sports bar an hour away one night to watch a game when the Internet went down. I wouldn't come to do remote work because we had basically no mobile service with AT&T and when the Internet is out, you're out of luck.We didn't use the hot tub but checked it out and it was clean & ready. Washer & dryer worked great."
"Excellent stay, beautiful sunset views from hot tub. We had a wonderful time making s’mores in the fire pit. The house had plenty of space for six adults and two babies. Lots of toys for the lil ones and pack play was super helpful. Very close to Luray and fort valley ranch for horseback rides. The host was super responsive, thank you! "
Sunridge Retreat is a secluded cabin in Luray, VA for large family and friends

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Shenandoah National Park! The house is very big and spacious—even more than it appears in the pictures. It’s tucked away in the mountains, offering stunning views, especially in the morning. Just be aware that the house is located off a non-paved road, so it’s best to arrive before dark, as the drive can be tricky at night. The location is very close to Luray Caverns, which made day trips super convenient. The play area and hot tub were great additions, especially for families or groups looking to relax and have fun. The host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The only minor drawback is that there’s no trash disposal nearby, so you’ll need to plan accordingly. Overall, an amazing experience—highly recommended for a peaceful mountain getaway!"
Cabin Fever in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains

"Wow! What an amazing property and cabin. The owner was communicative and her attention to detail made our stay perfect. The cabin was pristine and completely stocked with EVERYTHING and every kitchen item/tool you could possibly need. The wi-fi was lightening fast and the A/C was ice cold. This weekend was perfect and exactly what we needed to reset and recharge. The grounds are peaceful and there’s so much land and peace. We will return again for sure!"
Modern A-Frame Cabin in the Heart of the Shenandoah Valley

"My husband and I had great time. Overall, this home is great and well-maintained. Most kitchen supplies are in the kitchen. Owner responded very quickly. Check-in process was easy. One thing we did not like so much was the stairs to the 2nd level. In my opinion, this home is good for couples who need recharge or small group of friends for retreat but not for people with disability or family with small kids because stairs to the 2nd level are very steep and somewhat not designed safely."
"Everything was very clean and the views are next to none. The trek up to the cabin was absolutely breath taking also. Privacy was amazing the nature surrounding you, watching fireflies at night was one of the highlights, I haven’t seen them since I was a kid. Definitely will be back. "
