"Not sure if it's some issue with the AC but it didn't seem to cool well. I usually have it set at 74 at my house. It was down to 68 and I still kept waking up sweating. I have read that some larger chains have thermostats that shut off when they don't sense movement, so not sure if this is the case or not? Also, very noisy on a Saturday night. Breakfast was fine and on par with most that offer them. Room was clean and otherwise no issues."

"For an older motel this was a well maintained property and very reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and it was a very quiet place. I would probably stay there again if I was in Maggie Valley."

"Our party of 5 guys were stoked on this house for our weekend car show at the fair grounds. It was quiet and easy to find. It was on a super steep hill like some houses in the past. The house was real clean and the beds were comfy for everyone. There was enough kitchen stuff to make breakfast and all of us sit at the table together. There were no notes from the host on check out rules so I had to messsge to find out. The driveway has a pretty aggressive rain ditch across it which our mini van bottomed out on pulling in. A lowered car would never make it. Overall we were very happy for the price and would stay here again when we return for the show next year. "
