"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our week at A World Apart; no matter where we sat outside on the porch or in the hot tub, it was so very peaceful. The beds were so comfortable. We had a basket of goodies waiting for us on the counter when we arrived. There was bodywash, shampoo, and conditioner included in the showers; large, soft bath towels, as well. We enjoyed the visiting hummingbirds and loved watching the chipmunks gather acorns. We were really hoping to see some elk, but sadly, we didn’t. We didn’t have any trouble getting up to the cabin and Google maps took us directly to it. We were in a 4 wheel drive truck. I feel the only thing that would've made this cabin perfect is a beautiful mountain view. The owners were easy to communicate with. Overall, this was a great find and we're so thankful for the opportunity to spend our vacation in Maggie Valley. We absolutely adore this location of NC"

"Absolute perfect cabin nestled high in the mountain and everywhere you looked was a photo moment! It was clean and had all that we needed. We spent an afternoon in Waynesville, enjoyed time buying local apples and loved the drive and views on the Blue Ridge parkway! Our host detailed directions and description of the drive to the cabin was invaluable. We had an AWD and after our first drive up we were laughing with the satisfaction that we had made it! Then we saw the view and the view silenced us. What a thrill!"
"Love this you can stay there and eat at the top of the hill. We love the restaurant we will be back. The brussel sprouts and meatballs were so good!! "

"The cabin was exactly as advertised! The cabin was well equipped and the master bed was extra comfy!! It was the first time we took our dog in a trip and we loved that it had a small fended yard, Be aware the drive up is tricky and you WILL NEED A 4 wheel drive NO MATTER the time of the year. We had to drop our truck into 4 wheel drive for the final push into the driveway everytime. The privacy was nice and we enjoyed walking down and exploring the little neighborhood and behind the house! Will definitely come back!!"

"A four year old walked-inb the door and stopped dead in his tracks and saids"this is amazing"! The view by itself makes this an excellent cabin, but the thoughtfulness of its provisioning and the extra touches made this cabin truly next level. We will be coming back!If there was a downside, the road up from the highway is a but much, but was definitely not a problem. I just took some patience. Any inconvenience from that was far, far outweighed by the prize at the end of the road."
