"The house was well appointed and Matt always answered any question promptly. We had a great time! Loved the gas stove and the kitchen had everything you could possibly needspices, cast iron pans, plenty of dishes, glasses, tableware, storage containers-they had it all! The counter had two bar stools which we constantly used. Additionally, they had the most beautiful wood burning stove that we used at night and in the cool mornings. Buy wood from Bear at the entrance to the community. The deck out back is large and we enjoyed sitting out there listening to the creek and enjoying the autumn leaves. There is a very nice Weber gas grill on the back deck too.There are quite a few stairs down to the creek but it was a beautiful setting. It’s all lit up at night. We had the bedroom on the first floor. The king bed was comfy and it had an additional small room off of it you could use as an office or reading room. The bathroom was very nice. It had a tiled walk in shower, a beautiful natural wood cabinet with sink, hairdryer and separate Johnny. The house was immaculately clean!Upstairs was an additional king bedroom and bath with a bonus room with two additional beds. The homes architecture was beautiful. There was a covered area to park under. It probably is best to have an all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive coming up the road to the house. Matt gave us great directions, but it is still challenging. Make sure to eat at J Arthur’s in Maggie valley. It’s pricey but worth it."

"The cabin is spacious and sits on an elk trail. We seen elk cross the yard every morning and every afternoon. There was plenty of hangout space. The beds leave much to desire. The beds are a small full size and the mattresses are very old and uncomfortable. The mattresses in the detached room were more like cot mattresses. Other than the uncomfortable sleeping, we enjoyed our time. Remember this property doesn’t provide washing soaps, laundry soap, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. We just ran to the store and purchased these items so it wasn’t a big deal."

"Maggie’s Song was a wonderful retreat!! Communication was great!The host was very responsive to messages. The cabin was clean and very well stocked. The heater in the bathroom was a nice treat on cool mornings. The bed was very comfortable and loved the pillows!! We loved the outdoor spaces-the front porch for coffee and the fire pit area in the evening. The sound of the water was so peaceful!! The water pressure, especially at the kitchen sink seemed low, but it may be the norm when you are up in the mountains. Thoroughly enjoyed our week here!!"

"A True Home Away From Home!We've stayed in quite a few VRBO rentals over the years, but this one truly felt like home! The house was incredibly well stocked with everything you could possibly need, and you can tell a lot of thought went into making guests feel comfortable. Although it was just the two of us, there was more than enough space to comfortably accommodate the whole family. The views were beautiful, and the entire property was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable getaway. We would definitely stay here again!"

"This cozy little cabin was great for our anniversary get away! Secluded and peaceful while being close enough to town to enjoy some of what cute little Maggie Valley has to offer. It was clean and cozy with pretty much all the kitchen needs provided. Normally I have to take extra cookware to these rentals and we don’t need them here! The wood burning fire place was wonderful and sitting in the hot tub while being able to see and listen to the creek below us was magical."

"We had a great stay. Lovely views. Beautifully secluded and quiet cabin. We felt lost in the woods. The fall colors were majestic. The hot tub was clean and heated up nicely. The host was super responsive and made our stay easy. They provided clear communication and the check in/out process was great. We enjoyed staying here and would visit again."
