Great pub, ever so busy for food. Reasonably priced large portions.
Room very good . NO AIRCON . Just a window that opens great.
Will stay again if working this way.
Village pub with rooms, rooms are cosy and tidy, slightly basic, but comfortable. Staff were amazing and friendly, had breakfast which was freshly cooked and really tasty.
If your looking for comfortable and good value I would highly recommend

Lovely warm cosy old fashion hotel with comfy beds lovely bedding and spotlessly clean enjoyed our Christmas Visit with many thanks to Richard Jacky and all the lovely staff 👍🌸
Great stay at the Dun Cow Inn. Just what we needed after our wedding at Hardwick Hall hotel. About 15 min walk from there. Beds were comfy, shower was nice and big and the full English was freshly made and nice and hot. Good amount of parking and all at a decent price. Staff were courteous and friendly. So yep excellent and would stay again if in the area.
Very pleasant stay. Staff very friendly and made me feel welcome. Room was spotlessly clean but dated with loads of character. Some noise from the bar downstairs, but I wasn't bothered by that as you would expect it being a busy restaurant on a main road. Very quiet after closing time and road was quite as well. Good value for money.
Very good, 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel. The staff are exceptionally friendly and food is very good. The bed was a bit 'springy' but we had a good nights sleep. Only issue was there was no plug on the basin in the bedroom - this was mentioned next morning and I am sure it will have been rectified by the time the next occupants of the room arrive
