Newtown Retreat — Award Winning Renovation + Ideal Location
- Prepare an elaborate meal in the spacious, fully equipped kitchen. Relax on the front porch as the sun sets behind the nearby mountains. Gather for a group movie night. Or sink into your own king-size bed with a good book.
This downtown home was painstakingly renovated to highlight its historic character and is a proud recipient of the Historic Staunton Foundation's 2021 Residential Rehabilitation Award.
Welcome to NEWTOWN RETREAT!

The kitchen has all the equipment you'll need to cook for your entire group, and includes stainless appliances and a gas range. Essential herbs, spices, salt/pepper are kept well stocked. Complementary locally roasted coffee is provided.
Each of the 3 bedrooms features a king-size bed with deluxe foam mattress, en suite bathroom, phone chargers, bluetooth / white noise speaker, and large original sash windows with oversized blackout curtains.
The living room and each bedroom feature a smart TV (with Netflix, Amazon, Youtube apps). The living room also has a work desk with office chair as well as foosball table.
The house has excellent wifi in every space as well as outdoors, thanks to 600-mbps fiber optic internet.
