"If you plan on staying at the hotel, this is perfection. Beautiful views, helpful staff, convenient bar, food and drinks available anytime, breakfast wonderful. However the shuttle only comes once an hour to get into town, and it is snall, so it is often full. No line or organization for waiting for shuttle, and even if twaiting first, people will jump the line and shove into the shuttle. Shuttle needs to be more frequent, bigger, or additional options to get up to the hilltop hotel. Walking down is an option, but up in the heat can be grueling, and with luggage is impossible."

Made use of the convenient drop off laundry directly across the street, w very reasonable prices."

It's hard to find a breakfast of more than pastries in Monterosso. The staff was friendly and helpful for anything. This hotel being very close to the beach was something I was looking for. They even have beach towels you can use. I'll be staying there again."

"If you are looking at this listing and thinking about going to Monterosso, book it now! So many times rental owners oversell their apartments, in this case the photo's and description literally don't do it justice.First of all, Paolo, the owner, was incredible to work with. He was immediate with replies, friendly and helpful. He even met us outside the apartment, showed us how to get in and gave us a tour of the place. You can tell he's incredibly proud of his apartment! And the welcome gift was a nice touch!We are a family of 4 with two teenagers, the apartment had tons of space for us all. The living room/kitchen are huge, bright and welcoming. The kitchen is fully stocked for anything you could need, but with so many great food choices in the area you'll likely not be cooking at home. The patio is large and overlooks the sea and the main square by the waterfront. Bathroom is very large for Italian apartment standards. All newly redone and modern. Master bedroom was perfectly sized with loads of storage space for clothes, etc. The second bedroom was a little tighter with the two single beds, but was perfect for the kids to sleep and store their stuff.The location is amazing - steps from the waterfront. 2 minutes from the public beach, minutes from amazing food options and a short walk to the old part of town with loads more dining and shopping options.Overall, an outstanding VRBO unit and highly recommend it and Paolo for your vacation!"

"This was a great apartment, lots of space for a family of 4. Two bedrooms, a cute kitchen, a living room amd washroom. It had a lovely balcony with sea and mountain views. Washing machine came in handy and the clothes dried surprisingly fast on the drying rack. Check in was easy with a video sent to really see the location. Only 2 things to be aware of: a lot of steps to get up there, we tolerated them but they could be a lot, and, the washroom door was not frosted enough. We hung a towel across it. Great location too, to walk to the beach and train. The train runs under and past the building and did go by every 20 minutes in the day but we barely noticed. Sounded like soothing thunder. I think it either stopped or was less frequent at night."
