"This property was old & in need of a complete restoration. I can say that it was better than nothing, barely. You should not have a facility this dilapidated in your choices of properties. I feel sorry for the people that work there."

"We were looking for a location close to Walla Walla and state parks (Palouse Falls). Dayton is a nice little city and Hardware Hotel is a great place to stay. Hotel was recently renovated with style. Rooms are large with high ceilings, well-equipped (good bedding and bathroom) and we loved the atmosphere. We received room# and access code in advance. No staff onsite but you still reach out if needed (phone or bar next to the lobby during hours)"

"The hosts were amazing! We had a collision with a buck on our way & they met us on arrival to see if we were OK. The bunkhouse is a cool throwback to ranching days. I loved the shower set up! They had all the pots, pans, dishes, etc. needed to cook dinner and breakfast. It's off the beaten path, so very peaceful! "
