You get what you pay for. It's not a fancy place, so don't complain if that's what you expect from every hotel you visit. This place is fine, nothing special but perfectly acceptable to me and a at good price.

The motel is a motor court that has been updated. It was clean. The manager went out of her way to change my room when the tv wasn’t working in my room. She upgraded me. She was so friendly and helpful I wanted to leave a review here just for that. Is the motel the best? No. But the room I was given was clean and had all the conveniences I needed. I was happy with my stay. I was in town for business and was exhausted. I got good rest, excellent service while I was there.

This was by far the worst motel stay we have even had. The rooms are not Queen. they are horrible, stained bedding doors that do not close all the way, bathroom door that does not close at all. People live at this property full time and there is a halfway house across the street. Dogs everywhere. Kids running around that I just wanted to take home and clean up to give them a better life. Just horrible. We did not sleep at all left before the sun came up just to get out of there. The lady at the checkin was very very nice though.

It was a very good price but the place is old and worn down. Beds were okay and the AC worked. It's decent for the price but only for a one night stay. Owners were very pleasant and nice.

The place was so terrible upon entering the room, we did not stay. I returned the key and left. This motel should not be open for business until extensive remodeling.

My reservation was cancelled by Dayton Motel without any notice. On arrival they moved me across the street to their other property, Blue Mountain Motel. They apologized. So I was separated from my friends on a trip. Room was a place to sleep and that is it.

Not many choices in Dayton. I stayed at the hotel 3-nights. For a budget hotel, it was clean. Building is old, the stained carpet needs to be replace, room door was sticking, but the bed was comfortable. The entire town is old and needs some economic activity.

The night started off with no office staff. We had to call and Waite 10 minutes for someone to arrive and check us in. Our hotel room was across the street and it went down hill from there. Very old mattress! The key would not work in the door. The Easter in the shower dripped all night and there was black looking mold all along the bottom of the shower! There was obviously a leak somewhere in the shower because there was a pool of water the whole time. The toilet did not fully flush either! I don’t understand why they would have us stay in a room where there was a shower leak and the bathroom floor was flooded! It was seriously a sketchy hotel!

Check-in was unbelievably bad. There are two properties owned by same family across the street from each other. Made reservations at one, they put me in the other because there was a part-time person there to check me in. Couldn’t hear instructions on poor cellphone connection and waited at wrong place for 25 minutes expecting someone to show up. Finally got to a live person at opposite motel. The air conditioner did not work at assigned room, had to change to another room after unpacking at first room. There is a Best Western near both of these one-star motels, wish I’d spent the extra money for a brand name. Watch for bugs!

Poor advertising

The old motel was not anything like the pictures in the online add, No table or chairs and the A/C was duck taped to the wall. No light fixture in the bathroom, just a light bulb. The refrigerator Would not stay plugged into the wall. The sheet in one of the beds had cigarette holes burns.
