The hosts were amazing! We had a collision with a buck on our way & they met us on arrival to see if we were OK. The bunkhouse is a cool throwback to ranching days. I loved the shower set up! They had all the pots, pans, dishes, etc. needed to cook dinner and breakfast. It's off the beaten path, so very peaceful!
We enjoyed a very comfortable and relaxing two days in the Cowboy Bunkhouse. Thank you to our friendly hosts. We will definitely return to explore the Palouse and the region's birds
My friend and I were hunting in the area and stayed here vs. sleeping on the ground in a tent. The bunkhouse had everything we needed and was warm and comfortable after long days in the field. The family and dogs on the property were great and we would certainly stay here again. It is a bit of a drive to get to, but you feel worlds away from everything so it's worth it
Real, hardworking family living in the middle of nowhere at the center of the universe. A great experience if you have never been on a farm. Very nice hostess and family.
We enjoyed the ranch setting very much. Our 1 year old Golden Retriever got along well with all of the ranch guardian dogs. It was a pleasure meeting and visiting with the family. If you’re offered a ranch tour by the kids do not pass on it. This is a hard working, down to earth family. We will certainly consider another stay in the future.
We were looking for an out in the country stop on a quick trip through eastern Washington and found this cozy little bunkhouse. It was well furnished and well managed. We want to come back when we have some time to explore the countryside with our bird dog during the day and enjoy the stars at night!
We stayed here on our Eastern Wa road trip. To be honest there weren’t many options in this part of Washington and I chose it because it was one of the few properties available in this area. But we really struck oil because it happened to be one of the most awesome places I’ve stayed. Wished we would have stayed longer. Owned by a kind family, a rustic and comfortable cabin with a ton of character, nested on a beautiful remote farm surrounded by hills of gold. One of the best experiences on our road trip, Thank You!
Great hosts. Made us feel very comfortable during our stay. Very quiet which was what we wanted on our our short vacay away from the Tri-Cities fireworks! If your looking for a quiet and serene getaway, this is the place for you!

A wonderful stay in a true cowboy bunkhouse - in the middle of the Palouse hills. There’s nothing like it and this bunkhouse stay gives you a sense of what it is to live there.
The night skies are amazing. The host’s children are a joy and the family Great Pyrenees dog stayed up with us watching the meteors cross the sky.
Very enjoyable stay. Bunkhouse was comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed meeting Gretchen and family, and seeing a part of the state we don't often visit. A great base location for visiting Palouse Falls and for birding in the area.
