Nice amenities and comfy bed with nice linens. Pub and dining room are downstairs so noise does travel as rooms are over the pub. Staff very friendly. Good food in the downstairs restaurant. Right in town and sidewalks for getting out and about in the small village.

A very pleasant surprise! Very nice and clean room above the great pub. Can't thank the staff enough. Besides being very helpful (booking taxi and arranging a table at the pub) they were also very kind and helped make our travel nightmare much better. Would be very happy to stay again, particularly when we could enjoy a few more pints!

Classic inn with a lot of history. Great if you like classic English establishment. Restaurant was excellent. Staff was friendly. Walking distance to all the sights in Salisbury

The room was a bit tired and needs a refresh and was facing the roadside so vehicle noise was quite bad. Then I got a lovely wake up call from the bin men emptying the glass bottle bins at 6am. The food in the bar was terrible and overpriced, has to send it back as it was inedible. The bar itself is a bit depressing as was the rest of the town. Should have known better than stop above a pub.
