We had an amazing stay. The privacy and the jacuzzi were simply amazing. Also, there is a winery close by which plays live music. Our only critique is that the wifi wasn't functional. Otherwise, it was a great stay.
Overall, it was absolutely perfect! I think it is better in person. Plenty of privacy, hot tub was nice and secluded. I would definitely recommend this location and we were very thankful for the stay. Beautiful views❤️🍻!
The communication process prior to arrival was great. I was able to communicate with the property manager easily. The cabin was very clean. We had an overall great experience. I would recommmend this location to anyone.
We rented this property for our mini family vacation and we found it the cleanest and the most spacious we had ever stayed. The house has beautiful view from the patio and almost all facilities were available like internet, barbecue grill, fire Pitt, the wooden swings and some play sets for the kids. Our overall experience was great and will definitely recommend this to our friends.
Beautiful property and lots of space inside and outside. The room pictured with bunks has just 3 double beds, FYI, but still had lots of space for all the kids (we had 10 adults and 10 kids). Owner was quick to respond to a 7am call for a coffee maker because the one there was leaking and not working...brought us a brand new one within 30 minutes. Overall great getaway with plenty of space for us to spread out!

No running water or Customer Service!
While the house appeared to be a great fit for our needs, in the morning we woke up to absolutely no running water. Because it is well water that meant there were no flushable toilets which was completely unsanitary with 20 people in the house! There were no storms or natural causes that weekend so it was clearly some type of technical malfunction. Upon calling the owners they sent someone to repair and resolved it hours later, but everyone had already left. When discussing a credit to our rental they would not budge. They were rude and not customer service focused. I would recommend staying here if you feel running water and flushing toilets are a luxury and not a necessity!
This was such a lovely and expansive home to enjoy and escape from the city with close friends (many of whom hadn’t seen each other in years)! The views are spectacular and the space is extremely clean and comfortable, sleeping our group easily with plenty of space to spread out. The owners of the property do require you sign a lease agreement in the case of damages, but they’re incredibly communicative if you have any questions about the property, the agreement, directions, or anything else. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful home
Our entire family stayed here. The house was clean . Roomy. The game room was very nice . We rent a large home every year for about 18 of us. Had comfy seating to accommodate us all. We look for something cool every year not sure we’d stay here again but it was nice .
We loved our time at this property!! We had 5 families together and the house was great. There are a lot of activities and games at the house and it is close to Luray attractions as well. I would definitely stay here again!
We had a great time at this beautiful house. There was more than enough space for all of us, and we truly loved being all together with our family. The views from the deck are breathtaking and we enjoyed stargazing and the sunrises. Our only complaints were that the owners didn’t provide a ton of information to a couple of questions we had, and the grass on the side of the house was a little too long when we wanted to play yard games on the side of the house. We would love to go back there and had a blast!
The home is absolutely stunning! The amenities in the home are exactly as described. The directions to locate the house are easy to understand. We loved the kitchen table, the deck.
Another reviewer described what I encountered as well. Anytime I've used the virbo app, you pay, you get directions as the date approaches and it's easy peasy. There was a separate agreement that was emailed to me that I actually had to produce a physical copy and scan or fax back to the office. If you do not do this, you lose your money and you can't stay in the house. I've never ever had any issue with any homes I've ever stayed at. I've never caused any damage. We are all professionals staying in the home. The way the female property manager presents herself is not friendly. As a business owner, I was shocked at her tone. It would have been super easy to say yes unfortunately we've had damage in the home before so we have to protect the house. Sorry, for the inconvenience but we do require it. That is not how it was presented.
The code did not work when we got to the house that was on the paper. That wasn't really an issue because one of my business partners called, spoke to the man and we got a new code. The female property manager just was harsh and acted as if she didn't care if we took the house or not. Either way she had our money.
We had five people stay in the home and ended up grabbing blankets off the extra beds at night. If you do have a full house, I would suggest bringing some extra blankets.
The home, view and location were absolutely WONDERFUL. As long as you know going in you have to sign the agreement and get it back to her through scanning or faxing, you'll have no issue. The house is lovely.
The house was beyond our expectations and perfect for our family of 13. The scenery from the deck was breathtaking. The house has everything you will need and beyond that it is very clean and obviously well taken care of. We met the owner who was very kind and made us feel welcome in his home.
Excellent house for a group of 20. Spacious
and never felt crowded. Lightning in kitchen is poor at counter areas. Well stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable and sheets provided. Well stocked with towels. Issues: one upstairs sofa bed has a bad mattress, pool table has tear in the felt and dishwasher has loose front panel (you noticed when you open the dishwasher door.) Lighting on stairs is poor. Kids loved the arcade games and air hockey on the lower level. Loved the very large dining room table, room for all of us. I would come back.
The house is wonderful, very spacious and clean. The fire pit and hot tub are great as well. The communication w the owners is very curt and not a friendly vibe which is too bad.
We had a really amazing time with our stay! The property and the views were spectacular. The inside was clean and provided plenty of kitchen accommodations for a large group. We had a lot of fun playing pool and testing our skills on the arcade games downstairs.
The property was also located back in a little nook so we felt like we had a lot of nice privacy.
The downsides:
- Property owners made us feel unwelcome. I understand that they need to take precautions, especially when large groups are involved and there's potential for expensive damages. However, it felt like they did not actually want us there. It made me feel paranoid and a bit uncomfortable that they were going to try to charge me for unreasonable expenses afterward (they didn't!). I just think they could have taken a more friendly approach in their emails so I would have been less stressed out.
- The TV's were outdated...not that we used them much but I would have expected a little more for the price per night.
Overall a great trip but just wanted to make aware of these small details.
