"Overall a good stay, however there were issues with staff shortages in the dining area in the evening. Also the food quality was definitely not as good as it has been in the past which was a shame. Breakfast staff were excellent, but on one of the mornings there were no pastries, fresh fruit etc. Otherwise great breakfast."

"First time staying here. We were a bit dubious as we drove up because from the outside it looked dated and there were extensive ground works taking place in the car park. We were pleasantly surprised on entering the hotel. It was very modern and smartly decorated/furnished and the staff very helpful at check in. The room was large and very comfortably furnished. The bathroom was very clean and had a large walk in shower. Breakfast next morning was great with a large selection of hot and cold options, and the dining room looked out onto a delightfully landscaped garden/seating area. Would definitely recommend and stay here again"

"Great clean room and much better value than some of the larger chains. Really nice location with views around the area. Located a few minutes from the motorway. Would use again and recommend to others. Missing information in room like breakfast times but easily sorted by asking the staff."

"Room was very clean. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Food in the restaurant was delicious. My only criticism would be that there was only a small desk top fan. And in the middle of a heatwave the room was ridiculously hot."

"A really beautiful space in a great location — 12 of us (spanning three generations) were very comfortable, and it’s nicer and more spacious than the photos look. The views from the rooms and terrace are also wonderful, especially at sunset. We loved the great kitchen / breakfast area and a fantastic big dining room. Very well equipped and Sam was very quick to help us sort out a small initial issue with the hob. He and Peri couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Great place in lovely countryside but also near to the excitements of Manchester. Very very highly recommended!"
