"Again EXCELLENT IN ANY WAYS"

"Booked 2 double rooms on ground floor due to disabled son. Arrived to find hotel under renovation, office held in 1 of the rooms the size of a closet. Was told no ground floor rooms, only 3rd floor and no working elevator even though that’s why I booked there! If we hadn’t driven 10 hrs to get there I would have looked elsewhere but guess what this reservation was non refundable as well! Told staff there is no way he can go up 3 stories. She found 1 ground floor room, TG! But that left me & my 70 year old sister climbing 3 flights of stairs with luggage & multiple trips to and from ground floor. Room advertising shows coffee pot & microwave but staff says they no longer offer those items so made it even more inconvenient. Needless to say I won’t stay there anymore and since they blamed HOTEL.COM for not communicating our needs I won’t be using them again either! "

"Hotel feels like it has seen better days but is functional and property and rooms are clean . Pool and hot tub nice. Rooms could use better decor. Restaurant is closed . Needs better path to be able to go to beach which is few blocks away"

"We had a blast last week. My family got together to celebrate my mom and dad's 70th wedding anniversary, and many of us stayed at this wonderful home very close by.My daughters asked me to earmark this property for another time. It had everything we needed to have one of our special meals together here, as we grilled salmon, chicken breasts, and T-bone steaks, and made all the rest of a wonderful meal for 23 people. Wow! We have had many family reunions at many homes around San Diego County, but finally we found one that had enough bathrooms and bedrooms to accommodate 12 of us very comfortable. 7 minute drive to my mom and dad's house, and that's a record too.Thank you, Cyndi, for being such a gracious host, and helping us make this event easy, comfortable, and happy!In a couple of years, we will be gathering again for my dad's 100th birthday..."

"This is a Five Star property!! If you want to go to a property to be totally pampered, this is it!"

"The hosts were very nice and responsive. The unit itself was very unique and cute. I will say that I can’t imagine more than one person being comfortable here- it is a tiny home, after all!The biggest issue with the property is its proximity to the 5. The 5 is a major interstate and the tiny home backs right up to it (literally). You can hear the traffic noise inside the unit and it disrupted my sleep. You can hear it very clearly outside of the unit, rendering the adorable outdoor space pretty much useless. It is also within hearing distance of the train, which is another source of noise.I may have been more forgiving of this if I had any inclination how close this was to the 5 and could set my expectations correctly. I did not. This should absolutely be disclosed on the listing page. I was looking for peace and quiet and didn’t get that with this unit.It was very close to Encinitas and the beach (super easy drive, I would not call it walkable), so I was able to spend most of my time there, but I did have to adjust.It did have great a/c, convenient parking, and felt very safe."
