"The bathroom was very dated. It looked like a nursing home. The flooring was extremely old. The bed was too low. Only one bath towel for 2 people. It was definitely not up to standard for a Hub. The staff was friendly and made you feel welcomed. But this hotel needs serious renovations. "

"We stayed in the apartment which was really spacious, it is a fabulous house with well thought out decor.
Cleanliness was second to none, so if that's what concerns you when travelling, then Eagle house is for you its spotless.
Andy and Helen are great hosts and very welcoming.
The town is just a short walk with some lovely pubs and restaurants to choose from.
Overall a fabulous stay."

"Lovely property. I arrived late and left early so didn’t spend much time there but it had everything I needed. Breakfast options were good and the room was quiet.
Only slight gripe was that the iron in the laundry room wasn’t brilliant and took a while to iron a skirt. "

"Fab room following an upgrade to a superior room. Staff all so friendly and helpful. Gym facilities excellent and although we didn’t have time for the spa it also looked great. Bar and dining was not inexpensive but it was very tasty with excellent service. Well done fairlawns you made it a lovely stay! "
"Just got back from a stay that felt like a dream birthday treat and retreat. The hotel was cosy, beautiful. The ground was so peaceful, it felt like time slowed down. Every corner invited calm and rest. Above all though, was the staff. They were genuinely kind, attentive, and always ready to help. It surpassed my expectations.
I can’t recommend New Hall enough.
