It was a real countryside experience. Beautiful, clean and peaceful. The owners were welcoming and genuine. The double bed in the Robin's Nest room was uncomfortable. I slept in the single bed which was much better. If it wasnt for that, the stay would have been perfect.

I booked the stay at White Cottage for my wife, Anne, as she was visiting from Australia and needed a location close to her family in Wombourne. She was delighted with the friendliness of Jackie & Rob who made her feel completely "at home". The room had everything that she needed and the breakfasts were superb. The added extras were very much appreciated too. Hopefully, we can both stay there next year when we are back in the UK. Anne highly recommends White Cottage for a stay in the Midlands.

A superb location with lovely garden views. Very serene, grand setting. Our room was in the China wing, beautiful room, very cosy. The common lounge room was inviting and grand, in fact the whole place is grand! Breakfast was excellent, select a cooked choice from the menu. Cereal, toast and juice alway available at buffet. Staff are lovely and well received at reception. Plenty of car parking. A delightful stay. Will stay longer next time. Love it.

Fantastic place to stay. Very quiet and lovely room. Only complaint was my bed. We had a twin room. My friend said her bed was comfortable and one of the best night sleeps she'd had. My bed was the opposite. I woke up with an extremely sore back. The bed was not comfortable at all. I mentioned this when we checked out.

Service was excellent, every staff member was friendly and knowledgeable. We dined in the evening and the food was excellent, two vegetarians and plenty of choice.

What a beautiful establishment to stay in. Hospitality was excellent. Coming from New Zealand and experiencing a true English atmosphere and old world charm. Great to read about the history of The Swan. The cost was amazing. Best place so far on our Europe trip. Thanks very much to the cleaning team and staff who accommodated and made our stay enjoyable.

Somewhat quiet. The owner was vwry nice and welcoming. Riim was adequate however it was small so luckiky we did not take up our suitcases. A small fridge was provided which was useful. What would have also been been useful was a jug or bottle of water. It was very hard to fill the kettle from the bathroom sink. We couldny understand why the bed was unusually warm and a bit sticky. Is the plastic under the mattress protector necessay? Nice stay.

Great customer service - Manager made us feel welcome and arranged an early breakfast so we could get on the road to our next destination.

Great stop for me to unwind during my business trip

A beautiful heritage estate of large proportions and character. The history was fascinating. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were superb. A beautiful country setting with beautiful views of the river and farmland. Well equipped rooms, with all appliances you could ever need. Rooms were cosy and warm. We loved using the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Highly recommend and I would love to stay here again, given the opportunity.
