"Stunning property, exceeded expectations, bigger than expected, lots of space to chill out and enjoy, garden was a great addition in the hot weather. Handy for Goodwood motor circuit but also great for a slow evening walk along the beach. The host was fantastic, great communication before we arrived and there for check in and to show us around. Immaculately clean and decorated and had everything you could need for a few days away. A great base to explore the south coast. Thank you"
"Our room was plenty big enough, and the bathroom was fine. The shower is over the bath, so getting in and out could be a problem if you're older, or not so good at climbing over the edge of it! Air conditioning was great as we had hot weather!
Five minute walk to the beach (stony), and a nice 15-20 minute stroll into town.
Breakfast was good - cereal and pastries etc, bread etc and/or full English cooked if you wanted it."
"Room was clean and tidy, our room overlooked the sea which was amazing, no restaurant which was disappointing, no sure about breakfast as we left early 06:00, the TV in the the was poor to small, had to park at a multi-storey car park as there wasn’t any parking, but it was only down the road and reasonable priced."
"Different kind of stay- think upmarket Airbnb but as a hotel.
No staff on site- (although there was when we checked in as the house keeper and the owner appeared to be doing some maintenance).
So all done by email- you get a code to access the doors.
Our room was ready at 1pm- so it's an early check in which is good.
Room was tidy and clean.
Stayed in family room 5- has a double bed and a single bed.
Things to improve
-The soap dispenser fires the soap out all over you as it's mounted very high.
-The fridge was off- so took some time to cool down.
-Shower curtain took a bit of getting used to and could see it would be easy to flood the bathroom- plenty of room for a cheap screen. (maybe kept that way for disabled access)
-Unlike hotels there isn't black out curtains- so we did wake up early- wasn't a problem for us as we had to be up and gone but if you like a dark room then these aren't them.
Loved
-Instant access- no delays checking in.
-Much better decor than a normal hotel.
-Great touch with some quality snacks and drinks.
-Comfy beds.
-Useful kitchen area- we didn't use it.
-Decent location- about 2 mins from the main shops and not far from the sea.
-Great quiet car park right across the street (weekends anyway).
Car parking can be fun- have to pay 3 times to cover an overnight stay- upto 10pm, 10pm to 6am and then again 6am onwards- but that's the councils fault."
"All was great. Worked well for 5 of us, including toddler. Lots of space, including back garden and easy parking.Would like curtains on bedroom windows"
