We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived as it’s actually a firefighters charity who rent their rooms out of a weekend, and is used for firefighters rehab during the week. A very quiet location on a Farm just off the A27, a picturesque place to enjoy a couple of nights stay. With some local Pubs around the corner (walking distance), it gave you eating options. Breakfast was just the best, a very enjoyable full English cooked for you, the staff are so pleasant and nice, well worth a stay here, we will be returning in the summer so we can take some longer walks around the property and local tracks.

Huge room and breakfast was amazing, truely four star. Walking distance to the Barbican area. Our only issue was we were on the top floor and there was no lift. 50 steps from the back car park. I am sure they would put a lift in if the building was not heritage listed. If you have mobility problems make sure to ask for a room close to the ground. Overall very impressive and good value for money all fittings and fixtures were high quality.
