"Lots of gangs of kids hanging around, and not a safe feeling area. Property lacked basic things that you’d expect in a hotel. No one on site to contact to rectify things. Not a good place to stay. "

"Lovely staff - very friendly and very professional. Really appreciated the manager who called me when she was off shift to resolve a small issue.
This hotel is great value for money."
"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 - Lovely Stay at Dunston Hall
We had a lovely stay at Dunston Hall. Our room was upgraded on arrival, which was a wonderful surprise! The room itself was spacious with a huge, comfortable bed, perfect for a relaxing night.
The bar and restaurant were excellent, and the chef was more than happy to cater to my dietary requirements, which was much appreciated. The spa was quiet and calm a great spot to unwind.
All of the staff, especially the reception team, were professional, kind, and welcoming throughout our stay.
The hotel grounds were beautiful and well-kept, though the outside seating area could have used a bit of tidying up. There were some scattered chairs, ashtrays that looked like they’d been left out for a while, which was a shame because everywhere else looked so lovely.
Overall, it was a great stay, and we’ll definitely be returning in the future!

"We have no pets. Great to have pubs, restaurants and tourist destinations nearby. We did not want to drive anywhere so the hotel location is perfect."
"5 star for a country village pub where we were made very welcome by the staff. Ive already given 5 stars to various.
Full, filling and quality English breakfast"
"Excellent first rate property, room was perfect facing the quiet garden area. We sat out on the balcony and had coffee and tea in the morning. The night before had a swim and enjoyed the sauna, steam room and pool. Later had a wonderful meal in the ring room. If we’re in the region again, we’ll definitely stay, and hopefully for a little longer!"
