Ended up staying here for my extra night in St. John’s when my flight was canceled. It turned out to be one of the best accommodations I had on my Whole trip. Cosy, Quaint, and Felt like I was home. And the location is perfect. Close to the city but on a beautiful piece of property.

We loved the balcony (outdoor seating) and the garden was lovely. It was a hot night so the third floor was a bit warm, but they had a fan and with the windows open, it wasn’t too bad.

This is a perfect option for people without a vehicle. Our only concern was parking, but thats the nature of the city, especially downtown. If you plan on getting out and exploring the area on foot than this is the spot for you! One of the best mattresses i have ever used.

Property is very well cared for and hosts clearly care about the building and their guests. Minor point -- the room we stayed in did not have hooks for outerwear (coats). And there was only one tiny garbage bin in the washroom. Not a problem for single night stays, but we stayed three nights. Otherwise great.

We stayed 3 nights and loved the house and location. Rob, our host was very friendly and extremely helpful. We stayed in the largest en-suite room on the main floor, which was very spacious, the beds we are comfortable, and had quality linens and toiletries. The only issues we had were with the tiny sink in the bathroom, which made it hard to use because the water splashed everywhere. Our room had a flat screen TV with cable, and great internet. There were 2 queen beds and a nice sofa bed. A couple of chairs in the room would’ve been nice. The room had a large window to the street, with nice thick curtains, which offered total privacy, and we could not hear the noise from the street. But there was also another large window to the back patio, which could probably use some thicker curtains for privacy. There’s a great patio/deck in the back, and an absolutely gorgeous large garden. There is a coin operated laundry room on the third floor, and a large fridge on the main floor for the use of the guests. There is also a comfortable sitting room on the main floor. Our breakfasts on the first and second morning were quite good with coffee, a large selection of teas, sliced bread, bagels, croissants, jam and margarine (butter would’ve been nicer). There was also a bowl of fresh fruit, milk, juices, and hot & cold cereals. On the 2nd day there were also boiled eggs. We would stay at Elizabeth Manor again and recommend it.

It was private, quaint and great location. Easy walk to city life but uphill after that lol ! Quick drive Quidi Vidi and Torbay coves ! We had our own back yard and our 5 year old and wife loved it.. you don’t see much from the back yard but it’s nice!

The owners Rob and Brenda were delightful and very helpful-suggesting restaurants, making a reservation, etc. The place was very comfortable with a lovely deck and garden. Great location for restaurants and near the water. Prefer this place to the generic hotel I have to move to as part of a tour group!

We were in the basement spot. Because a Keurig coffee machine was provided, I looked for pods . There were none nor any milk or cream for coffee. Not sure about sugar, as I don’t use that. Bathroom had left over hair on floor, from last clients I guess, and a white towel with a dark brown stain. Bed is very soft lumpy. Hostess was pleasant when asked, but not a natural at welcoming people. Location was fabulous for visiting top tourist sites.
