Terrible arrangements
The property was temporarily closed for business due to COVID-19. We are not being provided with the check in detail until the day of stay and we need to contact Hotels.com to resolve the issue. It actually ruined our holiday as we are eventually placed at a nearby hotel.

Are you trying to rub salt into our wounds, we traveled 300 miles to get there yesterday then to find out it wasn't available. We contacted you so many times regarding the issue of availability as we had received a text from the owner.. which was never properly resolved. Consequently I had to risk my family's safety and sleep in our vehicle that night

Booking was cancelled by resort on day of booking. Not aware until I had driven 250 miles. Could not contact as answer phone. Experience with hotels.com abismsl. Spent almost 3 hours on phone calls costing over £20 with no alternative found and a family extremely stressed with no holiday

Lovely stay but no WiFi!
This is a chalet on a John Fowler site. It has been beautifully modernised and designed. However, there is a smell of damp as the chalet is in the trees and needs ventilating. The chalet is for 4 but for some reason there were only 2 cereal bowls?? My main concern was that WiFi was advertised but at no point during our stay did we ever have the network. We all had to use our own data allowance. The cooking facilities were great with condiments etc provided. Lovely touch of milk and. Team tea waiting for us. Brilliant location. I would stay again but would like WiFi!!

Very disappointing- not my definition of a cottage
Advertising is very misleading to the actual property, although advertised as one cottage, the owner actually has 4 and pictures are just a selection of the nicest bits of each one. We booked to stay at the Artist’s but were actually put in a different one, the bathroom was very small and nothing like the pictures, the TV was very tiny which again isn’t like the pictures. Although it says it is a cottage this is actually a lodge on a holiday resort which was not made clear through booking

Grundsätzlich haben wir uns in der Wohnung wohlgefühlt. Sie ist auf den ersten Blick liebevoll eingerichtet. Für einen Kurzaufenthalt ist sie auch geeignet. Wir waren 11 Nächte (von insgesamt 3 Wochen) dort. Wir hatten nicht genug Stauraum für Kleidung (es gibt keine Schränke in den Schlafzimmern). Dazu kam, dass es in der Wohnung immer klamm war. Wir mussten jeden Abend die Öfen anmachen, um die Feuchtigkeit aus der Wohnung zu bekommen (und die gewaschene Wäsche zu trocknen). Die Gartenmöbel draußen erwiesen sich leider auch nicht als sehr bequem. Wir hatten das Problem, dass der Vermieterin ein Fehler bei unserem Ankunftsdatum unterlaufen war. Sie erwartete uns erst einen Tag später und war zu unserer Ankunftszeit nicht erreichbar. Zudem war die Wohnung noch belegt. Unser Glück, dass zwei ihrer Freundinnen in der Nachbarwohnung waren, die uns weiterhelfen konnten. Wir konnten dann für eine Nacht eine andere Wohnung beziehen. Das WLAN hat die ganze Zeit nicht funktioniert und wurde auch auf mehrmalige Bitten nicht repariert. Zudem hatten wir ein Problem mit der Tür, die sich nicht abschließen ließ. Hier reagierte die Vermieterin sofort und innerhalb kürzester Zeit kam jemand und behob das Problem.
