Surfers Nest - fisherman’s studio close to beaches

  • Located on the ground floor of an old fisherman's cottage in the heart of Downalong, Surfers Nest (part of our budget-friendly range) started life as a net store and fish cellar for the cottage above. Only a few minute's level walk to Fore Street, the harbour and beaches. Providing good basic accommodation, this studio is ideal for the solo traveller or couples who want to be in the heart of town.

    Breakfast bar with stools, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, stainless steel sink with a tiled surround and small water heater. Window with roller blind overlooking Teetotal Street.

    Sitting room area
    Painted granite walls with painted wood panelling below, small 2-seater settee, side-board, electric fire and flat-screen TV.

    Bedroom area
    Double divan bed, built-in wardrobe, drawers and reading lights. Small, high window with blind.

    Shower room A very small room with shower, wash basin with small water heater and WC.

    Heating is by electric fires.

    Entrance porch and tiny courtyard with clothes line and a bench. 1-2 small/medium size dogs accepted.
