"Great location for airport access. Excellent service on check in. Cleaning staff great, helpful and considerate. Restaurant average. Expensive. Service somewhat lacking in attention."

"The hotel's access is a bit mysterious. When we reached to the correct place to check-in, we were introduced to the staff at that moment who made us feel that we are a burden on them. We arrived earlier than our check-in time and we were okay with waiting for the start of check-in time. However, we were also curious if we could do early check-in, and when we asked for availability, the staff working at that moment first showed horrific emotions as if we asked for something impossible, and then they started mumbling in their own native language. Whenever we were trying to have a conversation with them, they always cut us off and spoke too fast as if they have no time and they have to catch a train. After some time when they found a room for us to check-in early, they acted as they are doing a favour on us. All in all it was a very bad experience and it ruined our excitement to explore Manchester."

"Had a lovely stay at the Townhouse Hotel. Room was clean and tidy. Bed was a bit too soft for my liking. Quite noisy from outside but it is right next to pubs/bars. Heard the pub emptying bottle bins in the early hours. Rebecca on reception was lovely at checkout. Asked if we wanted to keep our bags there for a little longer if we were going into the town. Super thoughtful."

"Terrific stay "

"First time for us at this modern hotel and it had everything we needed for a 2 night stay in Liverpool post cruise. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly, they gave great local advice. The hotel felt very safe & secure, no one could just wander in. A hotel key card is needed for the doors and elevator. Our room was great, very clean and the bed was so comfortable we slept 12hrs the first night! The room had a mini kitchen, smart tv, huge wardrobe, safe & ironing board. Bathroom was huge but a walk in shower would have been easier for us both. I should have checked. This was a room only basis but there are loads of eateries nearby. Highly recommend The Wreck for breakfast, just 50m away. We would stay at The Resident Liverpool again."
