"A smile from the check in really makes a difference I feel. Great location and close to shops etc. we did watch one of the cleaning staff count out some cutlery but did it on the ground and a pretty disgusting habit to be honest. She then took them into a room coming back empty handed. We were placed right next to where people gathered to smoke and as non smokers we couldn’t leave a window open. The bathroom definitely had a musty smell to it and required better ventilation "

"Booked a room that stated it had 2 Queen beds however it only had 2 double beds. I checked with the man in reception who was not very friendly and probably in the wrong job and was told that was the right room. Beds were 138cm wide so definitely just standard double beds. Our room was up some rickety old stairs that I wasn't sure were going to be there in the morning. The whole place is in desperate need of a makeover as everything is just old and rundown. If you stay here and want to relax and watch some TV make sure you bring some DVDs. The TV is just a cheap Kogan model and is not a smart TV so you can't watch any streaming services."

"The apartment was very clean and comfortable, cosy beds, with all the basics needed for a few nights. The apartment block was nice and quiet. Some inconvenience as the washing machine wasn't connected, but overall a good stay. The host was very responsive to any queries. "

"I stayed a week at this spacious property. The property is a little tired however this is more than made up for by the host's quick, professional, friendly communications, and immediate assistance. I would recommend this property and the host. The property is also very well situated for local amenities and a short walk from: Eltham town and several parks, including Westerfold's Park where you can see wild Kangaroo's, Kookaburra's, and other Australian Wildlife. "The house was beautiful for a few days off. The owner came down a day before we checked out and he was wonderful. However cleanliness was just not to standard. We paid for air fresheners, rubbish bags, toilet paper, cleaning wipes and sprays. The pool was unclean and wasn’t usable as the agent initially telling us to just flick the switch on then claimed that it didn’t work. Wasn’t until the owner came down a day before check out that it was fixed but it was too cold that day. Overall was really happy with the house however definitely unhappy with the pricing and equipment at the place. I have stayed at many different holiday houses I expected a little better house care seeing the size of the house. Property is beautiful though. "
