"The resort is beautifully maintained inside and out and the newly refurbished rooms feel modern but still charming. The food at supper was very good. The concierge was unable to resolve a small issue that we had and it remained unaddressed. We were at the resort on a weekend and there is clearly insufficient staff to manage morning breakfast service resulting in waits -- for a buffet -- of more than one hour. Fortunately there are alternatives available in the nearby town but this should be stated to guests at check-in so that they can prepare accordingly."

"Only stayed one night but it was fine. No big city shine and could be called rustic (it is an old building) but it was clean and spacious and the manager was so friendly and helpful. The restaurant had closed for the season but its central location was close to many great dining options."
