"We were very happy with our room, it was clean and modern. the beds were very comfortable. There is no breakfast served there but there was a kuerig on the first floor with disposable cups. There was a mini fridge with a bag of ice available for drinks. if you have any difficulty with mobility, you may find it difficult to stay here and in total there are 24 steps to climb to get to your room and all guest rooms are on the second floor. the young gentleman that checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. He was the only staff member that we saw on our overnight stay. I went down to check with the reservation desk about something the morning we were leaving , the door to that area was locked. I went out the side door around to the main entrance and the door there too was looked. Both doors had a telephone number to call if one needed assistance. I didn't feel I needed to disturb anyone so waited an hour and tried again with the same results. We had no problem finding parking as someone was pulling out just as we were arriving but it can be an issue as St. Andrews is a very popular destination. The balcony was private but needed paint on the railing, The location of this hotel is wonderful, just steps from Main St. where there are numerous restaurants and shops, and only a shot wlak to the pier and water. There is also a restaurant directly across from the hotel which is convenient. We did not eat there however. I would recommend eating at The Gables overlooking the water."

"Our family of 6 (furries includes) cannot say enough wonderful things about our time here. Rob and Thor went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, making our getaway completely seamless. Beyond the outstanding hospitality, the surrounding setting is stunning. Having nature right outside the door and waking up to deer grazing in the backyard each morning was an absolute treat. Thank you, Rob and Thor, for creating such a special and restful place—we can’t wait to return!"
