"uhmm .. they put us in the basement room in which im not happy, we're a family of 4 and have autistic kids and putting us in the basement creates a lot of dysregulation. its far from train station.. yes theres a bus stop infront but its didnt help. outside is sketchy im dont feel safe maybe it depends on personal preferrence. we end up booking another hotel for the second night cause we can't have peace of mind about it."

"Hotel is fine but bath was stained and no fridge in room. But overall it was acceptable. What was not acceptable was the awful smell in the surrounding area. I know it was a hot week but Chinatown in Singapore manages fine. Awful smell of old garbage and rotting seafood in every street around. Would not stay there again."

"I loved this hotel! Favorite place I’ve stayed in NYC yet. Beautiful rooms, great location, smoothie juice bar, and a garden outside perfect for daytime or ending the night. The check in staff could have been a bit more welcoming for the price but hey it’s new york after all lol. Also would say it’s geared towards a younger crowd especially with the roof / lobby clubs open on the weekends. Hope to be back soon!"

"Room was not well kept, hardwood floor was scratched all over, bathrooms were not totally clean. Front desk staff were not that helpful. I wanted to ship some item back to my home the person in charge of shipping was not the helpful. I ended up walking to near by UPS to get help. I wanted the hotel keep our luggage while waiting for our ride back to airport I had to pay cash for that service. Generally staff service was not satisfactory, specially for premium price we paid."

"Overall, I had a positive stay and appreciated the friendly staff, safe location, and especially the early check-in. Once I was settled in, my stay was comfortable. Before arriving, I contacted the hotel regarding a special occasion trip to New York for the Tribeca Film Festival, and the team kindly responded that my notes had been added to my reservation. However, I was initially assigned the wrong room type, and it seemed those notes had not been reviewed before arrival. The staff quickly resolved the issue, and I appreciate their efforts. My main suggestion would be to review guest notes and special requests 24–48 hours before check-in to ensure expectations are met. I would also recommend clearer communication on Expedia regarding the $100 per night incidental authorization, as this was unexpected during check-in. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning in the future."
