"My daughter goes to UC and I have stayed at this property for most of my trips. With each stay, I am reminded about why I continue to book this hotel. The only down side (and it is very minor) is that the property is a bit dated but the rooms are clean and they have remarkably strong water pressure in the shower. Best part of staying here is the staff!!! Every last person that I encounter is friendly and genuinely happy to help me."

"Overall, I felt like this was a quality budget hotel and a good option for an overnight stay while passing through. We arrived just before midnight and were back on the road around 7 a.m., so our stay was pretty short. My first impression when we walked into the room was that I could definitely see where the “Microtel” name comes from. The room was more compact than what we’ve experienced at most other hotels. For our seven-hour stay, this really didn’t affect us, but I could see it becoming a little annoying during a multi-night stay. There wasn’t a separate sitting area, so the bed was really the only place to sit and relax. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water, which is always a big metric for me. The bed was also pretty comfortable. My only real complaint was the room’s air-conditioning unit. It was a typical exterior-wall unit with the thermostat built into it, so it cycled on and off about every 10–15 minutes throughout the night. Normally that wouldn’t be a huge deal, but our particular unit had a pretty noticeable rattle, which made for a somewhat noisy night of sleep. One big positive is the location. It was very close to the expressway, making it easy to get on and off the highway, but despite that, we didn’t hear any outside or road noise from our room. Breakfast was decent. I had a waffle, which tasted good, and skipped most of the other options. The selection was somewhat limited and could have used a little more variety, but I still a"

"The house was very clean. It was a good location. Easy to get to. A comfortable bed. I really liked how uncluttered the house was.The one thing that should probably be looked at is the floor. It needs cleaning. My house slippers were black on the bottom at the end of our 3 night stay. The floor also felt kind of damp. Other than that it was a pleasant and easy stay."

"The pictures are accurate, however both couches need support or replaced. Everything was clean tho. The kitchen pots & pans are very minimal. Utensils are on the low side. My husband, myself& my 12 yr old son stayed here. We had to wash dishes every night as there wouldnt be enough Utensils for the next day. No salt or spices. Tho it was better than spending money to eat out every night. There was not any dish soap or dishwasher pods until the next morning. We checked in a little after 4pm on Thursday, brought our stuff inside, made a quick dinner &relaxed after driving for 7 hrs. When we got up to explore the area friday morning, came back late afternoon I noticed there were cleaning supplies on the counter that were not there when we checked in thursday or b4 we left in A.M. There were a few things I messaged the owner/host about just to let him know, it didn't deterr us from staying there or anything. Just figured he may want to know so I informed him. I never heard back from him at all. The entry code worked no issue. The password for the wifi is not what was sent to me. Its all located on the actual wifi box tho. The washer& dryer were great to have. There weren't instructions on what I was suppose to do clean up wise before I checked out so I at least washed the towels,cloths n dishes we had used and dried them. I bagged up our trash &left it by the front door as we couldn't locate an outdoor can. Better than all the negative reviews. Maybe im just not picky."
