"It was a disappointment for a Marriott hotel. Far from the main attractions and the room I was in was very worn and not well kept although clean, despite it being a superior king room. Whilst we were offered an alternative room, we declined as that was no better. Breakfast was a let down but evening meals a la carte were good. Swimming pool was not appealing - it appeared it was polluted with the city air and to such a degree you couldn't see the rungs of the steps clearly. I felt there was not enough fresh air circulating in hotel at all. There was air freshner machines in numerous places and stuff being sprayed to deter mosquitoes. I found it difficult to breathe here "

"We stayed for one night and checked in about 11pm from a very hectic journey but instead of having a peaceful sleep to rejuvenate for the next day’s activities, we were working up by Kirtan playing loudly on a speaker for about three hours, which we were informed later that it was being broadcast live from Harmindar Sahib I think the hotel management need to be mindful of guests who may not want to hear this in the early hours of the morning especially when they have booked a luxury hotel for a relaxed stay."

"The experience of our stay was excellent. We have stayed here previously on two occasions and the service remains outstanding. I can recommend this hotel highly, the food and presentation was exquisite. Special thanks to Kuldeep, Jasmeen, Amarjit , Chandra and Rajendra. Apologies if I missed anyone out. Shout out to all the housekeeping staff, amazing. Love the guys on the doors, friendly smiles and respection each time. Going to miss you all, thank you for your hospitality . See you next year."
