"A very fine place to have a short getaway with my and my family. Not a place if you are interested in exploring the area. It is more if you just want a quiet corner to recharge and be away from the hustle and bustle. But we will certainly be back for that very reason!"

"This is the perfect spot for an Up North getaway! The house is a spacious cabin style with a deck and patio that look out over the beautiful Avoca River. There are several areas both inside and outside to relax and spend time with friends. It was clean, check in and check out was seamless, and the surrounding area is perfect for exploring nature. We made use of the kayaks provided, and enjoyed our evenings around the campfire. I would absolutely stay here again!"

"The cabin was really great! Very clean, cozy, comfortable, and had all the amenities that we needed. Even the freezer had ice cream, the fridge had condiments, the cabinets had K-cups and creamer, so everything was covered! The property was cute and remotely-located for a great sense of “getting away”, without being too far away from civilization. The only thing that could have been better was communication between the owners and the hired maintenance services. Check in was 3 PM, but we took our time and didn’t show up until about 6-6:30 PM. As we were trying to quietly settle in and plan dinner, a landscape dude showed up on his riding mower to mow the lot at about 7 PM. This was a little invasive to our personal space and privacy, as he peered through the windows at us every time he made a pass on his mower. We also had to wait for him to completely finish the lot and leave before we could go outside and fire up the grill for dinner because there was dirt and grass blowing around everywhere. Again, not a horrible deal-breaker, but it would have been much more convenient if they could have knocked out that chore much earlier in the day before guests arrived. Just saying…7 PM?Otherwise, everything was fantastic and the cabin was super nice! I would love to come back and stay again, and I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a cute get-away! "

"Very cute cabin in a peaceful setting. Cozy place to lay your head after a long day. Much to do and see in the area. Host was very responsive to any issues that arise, and quick to fix any problems. Will be recommending to family and friends!"
