"Eiger Lodge Chic has clean, spacious, modern, comfortable rooms and overall has a nice, fun, attractive ski lodge feel. It is located within a 2 minute walk to both: (1) Grindelwald Terminal train station, which is connected to the Gondola to Mannlichen and excellent upper hiking areas, and (2) Grindelwald Grund station, which serves the scenic cog railway to Kleine Scheidegg - for more hiking and access to Wengen and Lauterbrunnen. For us, the perfect location. Also, very easy bus ride into main Grindelwald town up the hill with many restaurants (hotel provides free bus passes). Great views of mountains without mobs of tourists found in central Grindelwald. The Eiger grill restaurant had good food and atmosphere. Hotel had excellent breakfast. Check-in and check-out people were super friendly, efficient, and helpful. Perfect hotel for us. We would definitely return."

"Seriously, amazing place and amazing stay. The staff there are very nice and helpful. You get a free continental breakfast each morning which was lovely. The room was spacious and clean. It’s located in the heart of the town, which was perfect for walking to restaurants, bars, shops and a short walk to Grindelwald first and Pfingstegg cable cars for the zipling and tobaggan. We didn’t have a balcony in our room but they set up a patio in the back with amazing views of the mountains where you can hang out and relax. Can’t recommend Tschuggen enough! "
