"Loved the property itself so much! However, the location isn’t ideal if you aren’t renting a car. Getting taxis to and from minori/maiori/Amalfi was the biggest headache ever. Also, the phone number listed through Expedia isn’t updated. We weren’t able to get into our room when we first arrived because we had no way of contacting the property to get inside. "We stayed one night in Maiori and this hotel was amazing. The room looked brand new with a great bathroom, comfy bed and an amazing balcony overlooking the sea. The beach is directly across from the hotel. They serve a nice breakfast at the hotel. The staff was very helpful and provided beach towels and taxi service. A restaurant is attached to the hotel for lunch and diner. There are a few very good restaurants within a couple minute walk. Ristorante Nettuno was delicious authentic Italian. Shops and the main town is just a 5 to 10 minute walk away. We cannot wait to come back to hotel sole splendid."

"Really nice hotel with wonderful beach access. Breakfast was not included but it was well worth the price. They really had everything you could ask for if you wake up hungry. You can catch public bus into Salerno and there is a shuttle service for approx. 3 Euro per person to get you down the wonderful quaint little fishing town of Cetara approx 1.5km where you will eat the best seafood dishes you could imagine. In Cetara you can also access ferries to Amalfi, Positano, Salerno and possibly all the way to Napoli. (check me on that) The Gym hot tub and ice bathing facility are delightful. Only wish they had earlier hours to open. I'm a 5am gym guy so 8:30 was a bit late for me."

"The most beautiful property I could imagine with great amenities. Felt very remote and safe and secure, and the sea access was absolutely incredible. I will note that there were only 5 bedrooms not 6 as noted in the listing but we were ok with sharing instead of spreading out as originally intended. Really a once in a lifetime stay though in an incredible place."

"This hotel is in, for us, an idyllic place to stay in Vietri. A room with a balcony over the sea and a sunrise to die for. What more do need? There was nothing to stop that wide smile when in our room. The reception staff went out of their way to be supportive and helpful. A definite 6 stars for them with their constant smile and willingness to go the extra mile to support our stay. At breakfast our staff were also very attentive and to sit on another balcony in the sun with spectacular views just brought on that holiday mood. There are negatives: When the hotel was built noise insulation in the room were either forgotten or lacking. Adjoining rooms let you know that the guests either side of us were enjoying their morning holiday romance. Our room was under the restaurant and we we woken at 7am with the noise of chairs being dragged across the floor continuously. Did it spoil our stay? No, but we could have done without being woken up early. Though a fantastic hotel with massive positives the noise aspect is one that means we will not return."

"Get the sea view room. That’s why you’re there. Reasonably priced for right on the water. The higher up the room, the further away from the road noise. A quick walk to the town, but after a weeks stay we started to call for the shuttle. Very easy to do. The lagoon next door is a beautiful spot. Maiori is were it’s at because it’s sleepy compared to Almalfie, Positano, Sorrento. Catch the ferry from town to go visit. You must be a good driver to dare the coastal drive. Know how to communicate with your car, horn, and eyes. Be passive and aggressive at the same time. Or rent a Vespa."
