Very nice facilities, we loved the views, the beach area was very good. Front desk was polite, courteous and helpful. We were there only 1 night but had a very good stay. We would come back. The walk to town for restaurants was perfect - short and safe.
Our stay at the Lloyd Hotel was even better than expected. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we truly enjoyed our stay.
A special shout-out to Carmine at the concierge desk, who was absolutely outstanding. He took the time to carefully explain the different tour options and made thoughtful recommendations that really enhanced our trip. His dedication and professionalism truly stood out—he went over and above in every way.
We loved our stay so much that we actually came back one week later for the return leg of our vacation, which says everything. The Lloyd Hotel has definitely earned a loyal customer, and we will be back again for sure. Highly recommended!
It was ok for 1 night; the elevator levels are a bit quirky & confusing...the front desk staff needs to be more patient & kind. very loud music in the outside/downstairs club from 2-5am which was a bit annoying when you're trying to sleep. Pizza place on the beach was great and location is walking distance to shopping and other restaurants.

This is one of my favorite hotels in Southern Italy, it’s definitely my favorite in Salerno.
Some rooms are being renovated and I’ve stayed in both, the older ones are nice and the new ones are pretty cool!
The hotel’s breakfast is also the best I’ve had anywhere and it comes with the room complimentary.
Magnificent location. Staff were very helpful and very professional. There was some ambiguity about our room booking. I thought we were getting a room with a balcony, but we only got a room with a window. Management said the class of room I booked included either a window or Juliet balcony or balcony, and that this info was made clear to Expedia before Expedia listed then on their site. I don't recall seeing anything to this effect on Expedia. So something went admiss there...
We arrived and met by the concierge who was extremely helpful, check in was easy, the place was clean, friendly, and the concierge even helped us book a boat tour and taxi when leaving. They could not have made this a better stay!
We at dinner at Re Mauri Michelin restaurant. The food and service was amazing 10 out of 10

The facilities like the gym and wellness area did not exist. It’s a huge hotel meant for weddings so felt slightly eery to stay in. It’s a beautiful view but with limited transportation, it’s easiest to walk to the city but takes about 35 minutes of steep walking.
Very outdated property. Conveniently located near the Amalfi coast and with access to the beach.
Has a free parking space

I did stay at the old part of the hotel , the shower was horrible , go water everywhere. But the new part of the hotel is very good . Also restaurants are very good !
My 2nd visit. Easy access to main train station and the port to
Catch the boat to almafi , positano, minore etc. several buses passing outside often.
Lovely village of vietri with good local restaurants and boutiques 5 mins walk.
Great staff and rooms with balconies
Will come back again.
Thank you
Good location! Clean! Breakfast very good! Room door locks opened during the night on their Own not secure! Bathtubs very awkward and slippery!

Well first off the hotel has a 11:00pm -6:00 dance party that was never listed on Expedia , so the first night I did sleep a minute then they moved us to a room that was quieter but half the size of the suite I had and then they show a pool and a gym that don’t exist…beautiful view unless you are facing the ship yard and all the containers.. if I knew any of this I would have stayed somewhere else. I feel completely unsatisfied !!!!

Rooms are nice but the bathrooms were not great. We had a jacuzzi but no shower. Jacuzzi was in rough shape. The shared areas were very nice! Dining area was great. Free breakfast was really good. Lots of beach confusion, plus… you need to pay extra to use the beach. Elevators are very difficult to maneuver. Two of the guys on staff were excellent and helpful! There was a woman on staff who was not very unhelpful. Avoid the view of the shipping port. A lot to like but a lot to be careful about

Mixed feelings
If we were in the 60s, this would be the state of the art place to go for. But we are not.. Location is simply stunning. The only downside is that when you enter the room, everything is old, but not in the "vintage old" kind of meaning. Air conditioning is far from being even acceptable. Rooms have a lovely balcony, however you don't feel like having a breakfast outside: cracks in the walls, old doors (you even need to use a key to enter the room...), lifts which have done their time. It's like you are into two different places at the same time. And to keep a place like this clean, it takes really a lot of effort. Bathrooms are desperately in need of a facelift.
A touch of renovation would make this place really a stunning one. Staff is amazing, especially the bar and the reception. Breakfast is average, unless you have a sweet tooth. In this case, it is sheer heaven with cakes, pastries and the like
This property is not advertised accurately on Expedia. Book at your risk… loud parties until 5am every day with no warning at check in. €30 per day per person to use beach, even if you don’t want a chair and umbrella they force you to keep walking and follow you! The rooms old and not sound proofed, hearing people in the next room using the toilet is not pleasant. The air conditioning is not in your control you can only control the fan speed the hotel control the temperature and they had cooling turned off most of the time. The first night of the stay there were six power cuts constant back on two minutes later off with the emergency light bringing huge light levels at 2am. The food was ok, the view is nice if you’re not facing the container port which they don’t show on the images. One redeeming feature is Vietra sul Mare which was lively and only 5 minutes walk.
If you want to be near Amalfi or Sorento don’t stay here. Overall very very poor and would never ask anyone to stay
We were traveling across Italy , and we stopped there for two nights as we thought this hotel looks absolutely amazing from the pictures and had a gym and access to the beech ! We couldn’t be any more wrong .
We booked very premium room apparently , soundproof , sea view etc.
The only amazing about this hotel was the bed - best bed we had slept in! But the view they don’t tell you , that you looking at sheping container yard and it’s loud !, there was parties outside our window each night until 1 am which we couldn’t sleep at all cos of it ! No soundproof at all . Another thing only one window had curtains so the room was extremely bright at 5 am already!
The gym ! As normal active tourist do they go to gym in the morning before breakfast , and they go explore as we planned to , explore Amalfi coast .
When we went to the gym at 8 am the gym was closed !!!! We were told at the reception that the gym isn’t opening until 10 am ha ha which is after Breakfast? What’s the point ?
When we got to the gym there was no air condition there and just glass wall facing sun which was roasting !!! Machines didn’t work and the jacuzzi area full of soil , leafs and lots of weed like it was abounded by Jurassic park long ago !!! Walls falling apart on the ground - just joke
The access to the beach !!
They trying to scam you with it
We arrived around 2 wanted tho to the beach around 3 and they don’t tell you the sun is gone by 5-6 and they trying to charge u even 30 e pp for chair
