"The only thing this place could have that it doesn't is an infinity pool! We loved it here. It was a last minute booking and the host was super helpful. STUNNING views from the patio, and the lake is a short drive down the hill. Also, a very cool little town with restaurants just a two minute drive.Our favorite stays in Italy we're in these little remote towns. Soooo nice. "

"Best sleep I’ve had in a long time. Very quiet area. Beautiful views. Absolutely gorgeous. Water and coffee were provided. Clean. Bruno was very patient with us with the language barrier. We also had trouble getting to the place because we were not getting service on our phone till we connected to WiFi. "Pros: Location in the mountains is superb, very friendly& supportive staff, fair price Cons: Only very small windows in the appartment, thus dark and nearly no chance for fresh cold air in the night. "This was by far the best vacation rental we had in Italy in the last several years. Beds are amazing! Hotel quality plus sheets were crisp and clean (and ironed!). Location was great for waking into the old city of Perugia or driving to Gubbio, Assisi or one of the many mountain wine towns nearby. Our host Giuseppe was responsive and attentive. I would definitely recommend this spot."

"Wonderful property and perfect central city location in the heart of Gubbio. Staff goes above and beyond. Ask about the parking accessibility beforehand which we did. It’s a mid-evil walled city so access can be difficult if you are not prepared. We parked at the base and took the elevator up. There’s still a steep hill of cobblestone to bring luggage up before the elevator but if you are in relatively good shape, it’s fairly easy. If not they will give you instructions to drive but you need to arrange this ahead of time. Truly perfect spot in a beautiful city! "

"Charming place, immaculate, and breakfast is an adventure with so many marvelous offerings. Sadit was our server, and welcomed us each morning with love and attention to detail. Sadit Loja and the front desk attendant Valerina were the quintessential professionals who made our stay feel like we were royalty. The wellness center is indeed a real jewel of the Brufani Palace, with the heated indoor pool built under the Etruscan vaults. The steam-room, and the sauna are divine. The location is supreme and only steps out front you have a panoramic view of the majestic mountains, and many shoppes and restaurants. Apreitivo hour is a time to sit in the piazza and savor the moment. It's no wonder why such Royalty as Queen Elizabeth, and many other notables chose the Brufani Palace in Perugia, Italy as it is most definitely a supreme choice. "

"This is a classic luxury hotel. I can't imagine the amount of time and energy it takes to upkeep this property. But they somehow manage to maintain a spotless, manicured and warm environment. The room was quite large and rich in design. The restaurant and the staff who work there are excellent. I was here for some mother/daughter time and we loved making this our base to visit the surrounding towns. Timeless elegance!"
