"We have just come back from a really enjoyable trip to Cologne. We stayed at Hotel Mondial am Dom. This hotel is lovely and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is located near the cathedral and the Rhine. Overall we couldn't fault it and it was a lovely way to spend our 30th wedding anniversary. Thank you. "
"A great location for myself who was using the railway station next door quite often to travel around the city and to nearby cities and the surrounding areas.
Also very comfortable beds and the rooms were quite spacious for our needs.
I also found the staff working on the reception to be very helpful."
"Had a wonderful 5 night stay at the hotel. I was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews but i was pleasantly surprised. Lovely welcome from check in staff and given lots of information about the hotel and surrounding area. Hotel lobby is impressive, superior double room was spacious, clean and aircon worked perfectly.
Breakfast was plentiful and you can order different eggs/bacon from the waitress. My only very small gripe would be that the toaster took ages so put your toast on whilst you enjoy some cereal!
The lifts were mentioned in alot of other reviews, to be honest it would be better if all 3 were working but we never had long to wait and we were on holiday so not in a hurry to get anywhere.
Central location right by lots of bars/ restaurants and a very short walk to the Rhine.
Loved our visit to the hotel and to Cologne, we will be back to visit you both again"
