"so what we didn't know when we booked was this is Love Bug Season. Thousands of them in the air. on the exterior walls. at the poo, bar, etc. in the room- our first room, which was located off the pool. had to go through a gauntlet of bugs just to get in- and once in, they were on the floors, bed, walls, bathroom, etc.
Called the front desk- i didnt even have to ask- they said bugs? i said yes. they moved us immediately to an interior room.
otherwise staff was super helpful. they have shuttle that runs easily and got us to and from where we needed to go.
i would stay again. just making sure to book an interior room. or ask about the love bugs."
