InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"I recently stayed at the intercontinental resort at Fiji, what an amazing resort.
From the beginning of our holiday to the end, everything was outstanding.
The room was spacious, spotless & was always kept with fresh drinking water & little treats at night.
Staff go above & beyond in all areas of this hotel, especially the buffet at breakfast.
Sera especially in the buffet was such a beautiful lady. always helpful &took particular interest in our grandson each day.
Maraia in Toba also gets mention for her beautiful nature & always helpful.
All the Fijians are genuine & their kindness always made you feel welcome.
The resort is stunning with an infinity pool over looking the spactaular ocean & the sunsets are not to be missed.
Great resort for small children lots of activities for all ages.
Can't wait to go back one of our best holidays."

The Pearl Resort & Spa
8/10 Good
"Solid place to stay in Pacific Harbor, very convenient if you’re doing the bull shark dives. Nice grounds, couple pools, lots of ocean access. Meals a bit overpriced, but staff was lovely and very helpful. Rooms spacious and comfortable, if not super new."

The Naviti Resort

Capricorn Hotel Suva
10/10 Excellent
"Good Bang for the Buck
I have stayed in at least a half a dozen hotels in Suva from High to medium end. This one is the winner overall for my business and shopping trips to Suva. My favorite thing was the Dream Bed that is so comfortable.
They each have a private balcony enclosed with a cement wall. It is furnished with a long ornate settee that you sit or stretch out on with a view of the harbor. You can't ask for more for comfort and privacy. .
They don't have a restaurant or a bar. That is actually okay because so one can enjoy peace and quiet. If one is interested in that go out to a restaurant or to a bar and come back and enjoy a quiet night's sleep.
Instead, they provide an adequate kitchenette with a two-burner stove, counter, sink, microwave, kettle, cutlery, plates etc. The refrigerator is larger than a bar fridge and has a little freezer compartment. We did a quick shop along the way for goodies for a continental breakfast and snacks. Tea and coffee packets are provided.
They also have a pool that I never had the time to try out.
With only one entrance through the lobby that has security guard is a real advantage, especially for single women.
You get all of this for a very reasonable rate. In fact, I got more comfort there that I did in any of the hotels I have tried in Suva. It was a perfect fit for me that met every one of my needs."

Fiji Hideaway Resort and Spa
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in a beach front villa ( 2 adults and 2 kids). The villa was suprisingly big and spacious. Super friendly staff and everything well kept and clean. Great place to bring your book and wind down while the kids entertain themselves.
Also the best thing about this place is there is no TV in the room so bring your playing cards and have fun.
We really loved our stay at Hideaway"

Shangri-La Yanuca Island, Fiji
6/10 Okay
"We stayed in an Ocean Deluxe Grand Room on the ground level and unfortunately the room condition was extremely disappointing. There was a very strong musty/mouldy smell throughout our stay that made the room feel damp and unhealthy. Honestly, I don’t believe rooms in this condition should be sold.
To be fair, the staff and management genuinely tried to help. We raised the issue the morning after arrival and, due to the resort being full, they explained they couldn’t move us until Wednesday (3 days later). They arranged a deep clean, which we appreciated. Another Ocean Deluxe Grand Room became available on Tuesday in the next block, however it had the same strong smell, suggesting this may affect multiple ground floor rooms.
What saved our experience here is that the staff were absolutely beautiful. They’re warm, caring and professional throughout. I truly felt sorry for them having to manage guest dissatisfaction around room conditions that seem beyond their control.
We paid around AUD $600 per night excluding breakfast, so the room quality felt very hard to justify at this price point.
There were definitely highlights though. Our kids loved the pools, water park, mini golf and buffet. We celebrated our anniversary at Takali Restaurant and the staff made it incredibly special. The CHI Spa was also fantastic and highly recommended.
The resort has a lovely family atmosphere and wonderful staff, but the accommodation quality did not match the luxury branding or pricing."

Quest Suva
2/10 Terrible
"We were purposely rented a room that had drainage problems and smelt of rotten eggs (706 & 708) all the hotel staff including the manager was aware of it and their excuse was they know there was an issue but the previous guest did not say anything. The manager confirmed that these 2 rooms have drainage problems but they still rented to us . It ruined our holiday my kids got sick , we could not figure out where the smell was coming from , after a long flight and being part of a wedding party we basically went to the hotel room just to sleep . My husband had to spray cologne at night to kill smell so we could sleep. .My family has still. not recovered from the bad odour ."
