The Iron Horse Hotel

"Great overnight stay at the Iron Horse Hotel! We loved the vibe and atmosphere. The outside dining and entertainment space was excellent! Food was delicious. The rooms were very clean and we enjoyed the industrial touches to the decor. The gym area could use some additional machines. Check in and out was a little confusing and the valet didn’t include the proper charges, so now we need to follow up with the hotel. Kind of annoying. Otherwise, we’re definitely coming back!"

"My stay overall was nice with no major concerns. The hotel is having major renovations and it shows. The entire lobby area is beautiful. I was in a room that had gone under remodel. It smelled of fresh paint and was clean. The bathtubs were not replaced but repaired instead; looks out of place but it was clean. The curtains looked like they lost a knife fight. Very strange. lol! The a/c-heating unit seemed to have two temps; 67 or 85. There wasn’t really a middle. The machine was also a little loud but it didn’t bother me. The beds are firm but that’s ok; they’re new. This property has come a long way! I’d stay here again and enjoyed my stay."

"Room was clean ,great location walking distance to everything. Had a bar and restaurant open late but didn’t use. Also breakfast was included but also didn’t use. Would stay again"

"Parking charge. My bill was 360.00 + aren't you charging enough? No need to charge for parking. Also, connected or not, the shuttle service (return trip from ballpark) sucked, he didn't show. Had to taxi back 45.00."

"This is our 2nd time vacationing at the Holiday Inn Vacation club in the Grand Geneva property. Amenities are amazing! Size of rooms and kitchen was perfect. The only drawback I had was that I was given an accessible room (didn’t request one) and the shower didn’t have a glass wall around it, just a curtain so our bathroom was constantly soaking wet. I didn’t like that. Also because it is so damp in there, the molding around shower was not in good shape and the bench in shower needs replaced. Otherwise, we love this property, price and location. Can’t be matched for what you get from it."
