As a high level uk travel professional myself i found best of exmoor cottages off-putting and certainly not a company i would consider using in the future. But the Cottage itself is excellent "

"What a lovely property. Tucked away off a very quiet lane. Comfy, cosy. Small private garden, woodland to rear and the sound of the waves to the front. Everything you need ( a radio would be nice) . Minutes away either walking down the hill or driving to Porlock Weir. Feeling rejuvinated. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. The location suited us really well. It’s on the river with paths in both directions directly from the door. The pub across the river is really cosy and serves good beer. It’s also a good spot for access to other parts of Exmoor. The cottage was very clean and reasonably comfortable. We liked the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen is very cosy with the Aga stove. However it was exceptionally cold during our stay and the central heating was not enough to make other rooms comfortable. Although it was not an issue for us, parking up the hill and having to cross a bridge by foot to access the property may not suit everyone. "
