"We stayed at the Kon Tiki just prior to a Paul Gaugin cruise. The hotel itself is fun with an excellent rooftop bar and one of the best restaurants in town. The breakfast room has a great vibe. It's at one end of a main road and getting around and away from the hotel to explore is awkward/sketchy but ultimately fine. The upper floor rooms with a balcony have a great view of Moorea (sunsets)."

"I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It wasn’t on the beach side, but it was still close enough to walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. The hotel’s restaurant, Rootz Hill’s Grill House, had very good food and service. They also served breakfast and the guests could get a big discount, so that was nice. The hotel staff were very helpful. The only negative thing was that the bathroom shower wasn’t clean. My husband said it was probably because of the hard water. Other than that, it was excellent."

"It’s a perfect place with younger kids (4-8 years). The kids club was good and occupied our little girl while she enjoyed other kids company . The warm spa pool was a joy for all of us as the weather was relatively cool and cloudy/ rainy and we could still enjoy water."

"Our room was really good. Spacious and clean. The cleaning staff were always there and available. The staff were amazing. So frie Idly and the service was great. Loved our breakfasts with a large range of choices and good quality food. The bar and staff were efficient, and lovely people."
